Spermolepis echinata  Bristly Scaleseed
ANNUAL.  Looks much like Daucus pusillus but with oversized leaves and flowers.  Finely divided leaves, clusters of starry white flowers, bristly seeds, hollow stems.  Blooms in March-May.  Uncommon in the Empires on rocky slopes in desert grassland.
