Sarcostemma cynanchoides  Climbing Milkweed
PERENNIAL.  Stringy bluish-green stems form twisted, ropy tangles adorned with small linear leaves and hemispherical umbels of white, pink, or purplish flowers.  Narrow teardrop-shaped seedpods.  Blooms March-frost.  Climbs into trees and shrubs.  Milky sap causes a blistering rash in some people.  Common on sandy disturbed ground.  In the Empires, this is the most common milkweed.
