Phoradendron flavescens  Mistletoe
PERENNIAL.  A shrubby ball-shaped plant that grows on the branches of oaks (Quercus) and ash (Fraxinus velutina) as a parasite.  Round oval or spoon-shaped leaves.  Tiny green flowers in summer.  White berries ripen in winter, when the plants turn golden or yellowish-green.  Occasional in the Empires, usually on ash trees.  Also called Phoradendron serotinum.
