*Nicotiana glauca  Tree Tobacco
SHORT-LIVED PERENNIAL.  A tall, gangly, treelike plant with smooth bluish-green stems and leaves, bright yellow tubular flowers, and oval brown seed capsules.  Leaves are large, blunt oval, and prominently veined.  Attracts hummingbirds.  Native of Peru.  Uncommon on disturbed ground with unnaturally high access to water; usually in human-made environments (roadsides, yards, cow tanks, etc.)
