Mirabilis linearis  Narrowleaf Four O'Clock, Ribbon Four O'Clock
PERENNIAL.  Tall, smooth plant (to 1 m) with opposite, linear, grasslike leaves.  Usually unbranched.  Brilliant magenta cup-shaped or shallow tube-shaped flowers loosely clustered at the top of the stem.  Entire plant very flexible and sways in the wind.  Flowers April-June.  Occasional throughout the Empires among rock outcrops.
