Lotus greenii  Deervetch
PERENNIAL.  A creeping pealike plant with soft, downy leaves and stalked pale yellow and red flowers that fade to orange.  Blooms in April and in late summer after rains.  In the Empires, occasional in sandy washes.  L. humistratus is more compact, with smaller, brighter yellow flowers that are hidden among the leaves.
