Lesquerella purpurea  White Bladderpod
PERENNIAL.  Leaves spatulate or slightly pointed, grayish green, obscurely toothed, growing in rosettes.  White flowers (purple in bud) are clustered at the ends of long stems.  Seedpods spherical.  The only Lesquerella with white flowers.  One of the earliest spring wildflowers in the Empires, blooming in March and early April in sunny limestone or marble gravel.
