Ditaxis neomexicana  Threeseed Mercury
PERENNIAL HERB.  A low-growing, semi-erect plant with tough stems and oval, pointed leaves covered in long, shining, silky hairs.  Tiny flowers and three-seeded fruits are borne in the leaf axils.  Blooms from April to late summer.  Common on sunny disturbed ground.  A weed in desert gardens.
