Dalea wrightii  Yellow Prairie Clover
PERENNIAL.  Prostrate, reddish stems with dark greenish-gray, silky hairy, pinnate leaves.  leaflets oval, pointed, slightly longer than broad.  Flowerheads erect, fuzzy, with bright lemon yellow flowers that fade to reddish brown.  Blooms March-April.  Rare in the Empires on bare clay soil.
