Brickellia coulteri  Brickelbush, Prodigiosa
SUBSHRUB.  A ragged bundle of pale, twiggy branches with clusters of small diamond-shaped toothed leaves.  Flowers are dark pink and yellowish green, followed by white seedpuffs.  Blooms in April-May.  Common in the Empires on sandy, boulder-filled washes, usually under trees or shrubs.
