 
Bebbia juncea  Sweetbush
PERENNIAL.  A shrubby, weedy ball of coarse green stems with small
gray rough-hairy leaves and rayless yellow flowers.  Grows from a
woody taproot.  Flowers attract butterflies.  Blooms all summer. 
Roadsides, disturbed ground, sandy washes that are subject to erosion. 
A pest in suburban yards.
